Wordless Wednesday

I hate flying. It really scares me. I wish I had never watched that movie you know the one about the kids and that plane

I don't think it helps that I love that show either

At least I never watched cause that just seemed silly.

But no matter how many movies or tv shows I watch about scary airplanes I think what really scares me is traveling with two small children. My mind goes crazy with the possibilities:

or

or even

I guess It's all up to fate and a good might help too.

Bon Voyage!

  1. flying is great but maybe i'm biased. i think the key to flying with kids is to fly on a different airplane and meet them there!

  2. Best of luck! I've been real hesitant to fly with my kids, too. I hear meditation helps. :O)

  3. I love it! Can I do that? You think the kids would notice?

  5. Your wordless Wednesdays are SO FUNNY.

I hate flying too, and most of all flying with kids, and even more - flying a transatlantic flight with kids! That's my idea of a NIGHTMARE.

  6. Suzie, as long as you're not flying too far or for too long, it'll be alright, I'm sure. But what do I know I don't have kids! LOL! Have a great trip!

  7. I was on a flight once where they played the film Six Days, Seven Nights with Harrison Ford and Anne Heche. Everything was fine until their PLANE CRASHED in the movie. I have never heard a plane so quiet as during that scene. I think we were all a little green. All I could think of was whoever approved that film to be shown on a commercial flight needed to have his performance reviewed.

  8. these people that tell you everything is going to be OK are just LYING TO YOU. What they really mean is "you will still be alive when it is over, but that is all we can promise you" no guarantee on your physical or mental state.

  9. Very cute. I've only flown with one of my kids - my oldest when she was an infant and then again as a 4 year old. She was so much fun to fly with, but of course, she was only one. :)

  10. I refuse to fly with my kids. We flew several times with Bee, and she was really pretty good, but I was so anxious about something bad happening that I couldn't relax. Now, the very thought of having to take Cakes, the little tyrant, on an airplane gives me hives.

  11. Yeah those movies would make flying even harder, I got a chuckle out of the kids sleeping in the overhead compartments.
Good day, Hope you'll visit my 16th WW...Blogging for Peace at The Cafe.

  12. Love the scenarios!!! My 4.5 year old has now been on over 30 flights. I lost count. They are great travellers now. But it takes a lot of practice....

  14. You never know. They could be fine. Or you could also give them a little shot of Benadryl just to be sure. :)

  15. LOL! I just don't know whether I'm brave enough to fly with my kids - especially since it would have to be alone as my husband will not fly.

  19. Clever post.

I actually love flying, I feel so cosmopolitan. But it is infinitely better without the kids, God bless 'em.

  23. Please!! Don't sit in front of me, beside me or behind me! I had poopy, crying kids on 3 of my 5 flights a few weeks ago. I don't think the mother ever changed the poopy diaper, either. Maybe she figured "hey, it's only 3 hours".

I think I should get a discount, or a free flight, or a bottle of wine, don't you?

You do know I'm kidding, right? Well, kinda kidding, the poopy diaper story is totally true!
