Where Have I gone?

I've been a bad blogger lately. Somehow I seem to have lost the drive, the joy de blogg, the muse of the blogg. There's a lot going on and each day I think today's the day I will blog about my hang nail or today's the day I will complain about my child's complete lack of interest in brushing his teeth but each day I seem to get caught up in this and that and before I know it I'm laying in bed wondering where the day has gone. Its sad but true. I think it happens to all bloggers eventually. Its not like nothing interesting is going on its just hard to keep up with it all and sadly blogging seems to fall to the bottom of the list each day.

What is also hard is enough people I know read this that I have to be careful about what I can say and the idea of self censoring while writing just gets overwhelming. I'm not sure what Ill do about all of this. I guess I'll post when I can and give myself a break if I take a break. Still love you guys and I plan to get back to my bloggyness when I can .

Don't self censor too much! We love you just the way you are!

Wow. I sound like Mr. Rogers.

I agree with Becky, don't censor yourself if you don't want. I think blogging should be fun and when it no longer is, than that's the time to slack off. This is one area of life where you are completely in charge. Take a break and see how long you can stay away. That will help you decide. Enjoy life.

Enjoy the break! Real life outside of cyberspace is much more important.

I'm so with you on a lot of that. I've been so busy lately, things have been so hectic that I just don't seem to have enough time in the day to add on a blog post... :( and also I too have to censor myself entirely too much as my husband is a faithful reader ;) and he just doesn't appreciate my posting about anything that's even remotely personal... so I'm very limited on what I can post...

Self-censoring is a biaaatch. The older I get, the less I do it. I hope you rejuvenate soon.

I feel you on losing the muse. Heck, my last post was about toilet paper. And, I obviously have a hard time self-censoring. So I say: screw it! I do what I waaant! Oh yeah, and I heart Cartman. ;)

if you need a blog break take one. blogging it's great. but it is just blogging. sometimes you have to set it aside. ok, sometimes i do.

Take all the breaks you can get, Lady. But be careful of self censorship. Sometimes people explode for seemingly no reason. Cheers and peacefulness.

... followers are just that ~ followers! We don't abandon blogs that are fresh, entertaining and creative. No matter the frequency. Remember? Blogging without obligation ~ I love that phrase.

I completely understand. I don't really censor myself - but I don't think I'm all that edgy...

Don't stay away too long!

I have just fallen upon this blog and I so relate to the "used to be fun and now I just need a nap" mentality!!! I was fun and adventurous once - really!!! And I also relate to the whole self sensoring thing. I can't vent about so and so because she reads my blog (THE NERVE!) and leaves comments so at least I know she reads it. And I used my real name (idiot) and people who know my husband read it and ....
yeah, I get it.
I hope you find your voice again.

Do what it takes to take some pressure off yourself - you are one busy lady. Whatever you post about is interesting. Most are in the same boat - just post when you can, and when you want to.No pressure.A blog break is sometimes just the thing you need.
